Hola everyone!

John and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in Spain - it was a magical time for us and we enjoyed the slower pace of life, the beautiful weather and catching up with friends.  Sitting on the beach is therapy in itself - the sounds of the sea and the happy faces all around - the sun definitely brings the best out in everyone and it inspires me! I have written many of my meditations on our favourite beach at Guardamar.

While we were away my good friend Lorraine and her lovely daughter Lorisa looked after our pets.  Our dog Libby is very sensitive and is an old girl now, at 9 years of age and our cats Tara and Celeste would pine in kennels so it's wonderful that they can remain in their own home with people they are comfortable with.  I know they have been spoiled rotten!

Once home, I started to work on pulling together the content for my latest workshop 'Angel Magic & You'!  My lovely friend and angel helper Mary came along to assist in getting everything ready because the workshop was the day after we landed! Luckily I had organised everything before we went away and all we had to do was print off the handouts and put them in order.

The workshop itself was a success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves - there were 19 of us in total and it was a wonderful feeling seeing everyone having such a fabulous time.  The piece de resistance was making 'Angel Dust' during the afternoon it was so much fun and hilarious to watch them all running around getting the colours they wanted in their bowls to make their angel dust extra special.  We talked about bringing our inner child out to play and it was certainly demonstrated during the making of this safe and effective spell.  Future dates and venues of my angel workshops will be advertised soon.

I am currently catching up with e-mails and touching base with everyone - there are more exciting ventures in the pipeline and I'm looking forward to sharing those with you soon.  In the meantime, remember to bring your own child out to play - let your hair down, and have some fun!

Hello beautiful people

I thought I'd share some ramblings with you. The last few weeks have been extremely busy and I am now enjoying some 'me time' which is vital for our well-being. Burning the candle at both ends is fine for a short time but eventually our bodies will screech 'Stop'!  You need a rest, slow down'.  I was at that stage and definitely flagging as it seemed that everyone wanted a piece of me and there wasn't enough to go round. I am now learning to say no, in the right way, and speaking from my heart of course.

I enjoyed my show The Quirky Medium on EGH Media Blog with one half of The Extreme Ghost Hunters, Stephen Lambert. I did mini taster readings for those ringing in and it was wonderful to chat to people from different Countries such as America and The Netherlands. This is a regular monthly show so look out for future dates on my website and twitter. I have been interviewed on another radio station which will be aired towards the end of September. Details for that will be coming soon.

I am really excited to be a contestant in the Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards with my first book 'The Quirky Medium'.  If you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for? Well it's only 2 weeks until my 'Angel Magic & You'! workshop and I am really looking forward to it.  The workshop is very much hands on where everyone attending will be making some angel dust which will be so much fun not to mention a few surprises along the way.

Talking about the angels (which I love to do by the way!) I have been receiving some wonderful personal messages from Archangel Gabriel about a lot of changes in my life. This celestial energy feels as if I am being cocooned in a beautiful comfort blanket. Heaven.....

John and I have been catching up with friends this week and I can honestly say I haven't laughed so much for ages! One of my favourite quotes is "There are tall ships and small ships, but the best ships of all are friendships".  So very true - so keep your friends close to your heart and remember to never give yourself a hard time because your friends love you for who you are, warts and all. You are unique- make sure you embrace your individuality and weave your magic wherever you go!

You can exude confidence in yourself by finding your inner power. Firstly ask what you want to release from your life and write it down in detail noticing how you feel - don't worry if you feel emotional as this is part of the healing process. Now write down what you love about yourself - yes, really! enjoy writing about what you have achieved and are proud of in your life and notice how good you feel seeing so many positive words and attributes on paper. Respect and love yourself as the angels do & believe....

Hello everyone!

It is the Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK -  I have a lot planned for the rest of it but for today I am enjoying having an angel day all to myself writing meditations for my forthcoming Angel Workshop and working on a Reiki folder& content for an attunement I'm carrying out tomorrow at First Degree Level. On Monday John and I have friends coming to stay with us for a couple of days so I will very much look forward to that.

Now this is a strange request, but if the lady I did a reading for at the recent Knutsford Mind Body & Spirit Fair is reading this blog can you get in touch with me please via my contact page.  You will know who I mean if I say 'The Wizard of Oz' to you.  Thank you...

Well there is a lot happening around me right now -  all good stuff but I think I overdid it this week and I had to force myself to rest because I felt so fatigued. In my line of work it's difficult sometimes to know when to switch off but my spirit guides, angels and body were all telling me enough was enough and that some rest and rejuvination was in order!

My book The Quirky Medium has been entered for The Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards - something I am over the moon about.  For those of you who follow me on Twitter you will remember a little 'Yipee'! remark I made recently. I will keep you all up to date with developments here on my blog!

If your feeling that your 'get up and go has got up and gone' - try Juice Plus - see the information on my home page for further information.  Another fabulous way of regaining your energy is by connecting with nature.  Get out in the fresh air as much as you can - embrace the delights of mother nature.  John and I took our dog Libby out for a long walk yesterday and there is so much to see, hear and feel.  I love trees and their wonderful energy and I came across one with a heart on it's trunk which makes so much sense to me.  Trees are alive and emit such a calming ambience around them.  Their thick sturdy roots connect with the earth and yet their branches reach out to the heavens.

Hola everyone!

I hope your enjoying the lovely weather we've been having in the UK and I'd like to say hi to you wherever you are around the globe. Even though you may be thousands of miles away remember that we are all connected through universal energy. There are so many layers within the vast Universe and we are a very tiny  one here on earth a mere droplet! We are also the only ones who worry about time - whether it's being late for an appointment or waiting for a train - time is always a factor in our lives. As earthlings we also worry about what's happened in the past and hold onto events that have long gone. It is a big life lesson to be able to walk away from things that bind us or we feel attached to that we no longer need in our lives.  There is no time in space, and no time in the spirit world or within the Celestial Realms.  Maybe we need to take a leaf out of their book and slow down, bringing our consciousness into the here and now, and really see what's going on around us, looking for the magic in every moment.  I will leave you with that thought....

Well what have I been up to?  apart from doing readings and treatments I have been catching up with friends and for once (practising what I preach!) having some 'me' time.  John and I went to The Lake District last week and had a wonderful day with our friends Sarah and Andy.  We visited a druid stone circle called Long Meg & her daughters which was absolutely magical.  It was a spontaneous visit - we hadn't planned on going there, but as we couldn't get a parking space at the original place we changed our plans and I am so glad we did. The weather was perfect and we were the only people there - it was obviously meant to be.  Hope you like the photographs below.

I enjoyed doing readings at The Knutsford Mind Body & Spirit fair - there were a lot of people there and it was lovely to see friends who popped by to say hello as well as meeting new people - the energies were wonderful.  It's so funny as people ask me how I can do readings in such a busy environment.  The truth is, when I am 'in the zone' I could do them anywhere, because spirit work with me where-ever I am and I feel blessed to be able to give comfort to someone in need.

Tomorrow I will be attuning two lovely people to Second Degree Reiki and I am really looking forward to it.  I thought I would share the Reiki Precepts with you to give you a taster of the unconditional love of Reiki.

Just for today: -

I will not worry
I will let go of anger
I will do my work honestly
I will give thanks for many blessings
I will be kind to every living thing.

If there is anything you are holding onto that you no longer need - let it go.... If there is anyone who has hurt you or are not around you for the right reasons - put distance between you and eventually you will be able to move forward in your life. Ask the angels to help - remember they can't intervene until you tell them your troubles.

The theme for this month is Angels!  As you know I  have been working with the celestial realms for a long time now and they relay their messages to me and for others, in such a wonderful and magical way. For those of you who have read my book 'The Quirky Medium' you will be aware of how they communicate with me through the art of Inspirational Writing. Here is a poem I wrote yesterday - I hope you enjoy it : -

If your feeling down and blue there's something you can do,
Talk to your angel - their love for you is true.
All you need to do is ask and tell them what's troubling you -
they'll be by your side in a flash & your guiding light will ensue.
Humans have free will you see - and the angel's can't intervene,
but as soon as you call out for help the signs they leave will be seen.
This will be their answer - that your prayers have been heard. Their sign could be a feather, a coin or even a bird.
So remember to talk to your angel, who resides in heaven above, As their healing wings surround you, in pure unconditional love...

Last week I shared the most amazing 3 days with the lovely Parveen Smith from Celestial Radio receiving pure energy and healing from the angels and ascended masters.  I am now the proud owner of my Angelic Reiki Practitioners Certificate!.  Angelic Reiki is a chartered body and recognised worldwide. If you would like an Angelic Reiki treatment please let me know - it is the most beautiful healing whereby the angels work through the practitioner as a channel and the recipient receives healing direct from the angelic kingdom of light.  I will be adding more information to my website about how you can enjoy the love and light of the angels and bring their energy into your home, personal life and work.  Watch this space!

As a Reiki Master/Teacher I enjoy sharing the universal love of Reiki and I attuned a lovely lady this week to 3rd Degree Reiki - she is now a Reiki Master and it's such a big step and one that the person has to feel ready for in their life.  I was honoured when she asked if I would attune her.

I have a Second Degree Reiki class coming up soon and I am really looking forward to sharing a special day of  love, light and life force energy.

This weekend I will be at The Knutsford Mind Body & Spirit Fair doing Clairvoyant Readings - why not pop by to say hello? The event will take place at Knutsford Curzon, Toft Road.  I will be there on both days, 27th & 28th July.

Hello there!

John and I have just come back from a wonderful holiday in Spain/Gibraltar.  Just getting away and feeling the warmth of the sun did us both the world of good.  There were many synchronistic events happening around me and I put this down to being so relaxed.  Our Angels and Spirit Guides find it so much easier to communicate with us when we are not dashing around with a hundred things whizzing about in our heads!

Our trip to Gibraltar was amazing, we spent 3 lovely days there in The Rock Hotel and was visited by a number of the native Barbary Macques.  One of them was a small cheeky fella who amused us with his antics and one day when I was meditating in our room I felt movement by my feet and initially thought it was John coming in.  However, imagine my surprise (and shock!) to see a furry face looking up at me! the monkey had managed to open the door from the balcony and had joined me in the room!  A day later, I jumped as a huge ape landed on our balcony but we realised that she had a baby with her - so cute, and I thought I'd share the picture with you below.

Back in Spain the sun was beaming down and I enjoyed a few meditations on the beach with the sounds of the sea floating in and out...  During our trip to both countries we shared special times with good friends. Wonderful!

Back home I have a lot of work to do, catching up and updating my website - it all takes time and I am not rushing.  Maybe the Spanish slower pace of life has caught up with me and if I don't fit everything in today, there is always 'manana'.

When I was looking for the meaning behind the bluebird for a section in my book, Dr. Loretta Standley's website stood out for me - it's truly beautiful.  She has a book club on her website and she has been kind enough to include The Quirky Medium. I don't generally have time to read books when I'm at home so while on holiday I enjoyed reading a fiction books about angels. The main character finds out that she is an 'angel blood' - part human, part angel who learned to summon her wings at will. There are a few funny parts of the story where, when she is happy she 'glows' which is what the angel bloods call 'Glory'. Realising she has a purpose here on earth she sets off to find out what it is and she's given clues along the way, usually via her dreams. However, the outcome is not what she perceives it to be, and on her journey she encounters 'black wings' - fallen angels who spread misery wherever they go and when they are near, she feels their presence as they take her energy and make her feel dizzy.

The reason I am sharing this with you is that we too, have a purpose on earth. Although as humans we don't have wings, there are earth angels that walk amongst us. We can also call upon the angels to help us in our hour of need - they can't intervene as we have free will, so talk to your angel and they will help to guide you to a place of serenity. We also come across people who take our energy or try to take our power - just like the black wings do in the book I was reading.  Ensure that you ground yourself every day and imagine a beautiful white light surrounding you. This will stop certain people stepping into your aura and taking control. Remember that there is only one person in control of your life, and that is you!  Life is short, and you only get one shot at it so be yourself, speak your truth and surround yourself with genuine people who love you for who you are.

Well this beautiful sunny weather is getting me ready for Spain!  I am looking forward to meeting up with friends, making new contacts and chilling....  A meditation on the beach is definitely called for - I could bottle the peaceful sound of the sea, couldn't you?.

My column this month in Prediction Magazine is about automatic writing and for those of you who have read my book The Quirky Medium you will know that this is something I do regularly with the help of my wonderful spirit guides and the angels.  Automatic writing is a way of connecting to the guidance from your higher self and I ask you to go for it and have a go yourself!  So sharpen your pencils, what are you waiting for?  If you would like to read the magazine, the June edition is in the shops now - you will find it in W. H. Smiths. I didn't realise that I had been writing for the magazine now for a year now!  How time flies when your having fun.  Talking of which, my Mum Joyce who is 80 this year came to the park today with me and my 3 little grand-daughters. Here she is enjoying herself which I feel proves that your inner child should come out and play no matter what age you are!

I don't often get time to read but I do look forward to my Prediction Magazine being delivered and I skip straight away to the horoscopes pages.  Not only are there the usual astrological messages particularly for us Gemini's this month, but I absolutely love the Chinese Horoscope, & Native American Horoscopes.  In the Chinese Horoscope I am a pig!  oh grunt....  which I am happy about because the qualities of the pig are fab especially combined with my astrological sign of Gemini.  Part of the message for us pigs this month is 'At last, things are on the way up Pig!'  Oh how lovely! especially when it says that me and fellow pigs 'will find it easier to rest & recuperate this month'. In the Native American Horoscope I am a Deer and I belong to the butterfly clan. Prediction also includes an Angel-scope for each astrological sign and mine for Gemini is relating to the angels of attention - where attention goes, energy flows. This is so true in terms of The Law of Attraction and Cosmic Ordering, so make sure you are being positive and that you visualise yourself doing something you love to create an abundant future. If you see yourself doing well, you will do well.  Don't let 'Doubting Thomas' rear his ugly head!

As a spiritual life coach I hold classes each week and my students are doing extremely well.  Yesterday I shared a beautiful meditation that I had written about The Nature Goddess who gave each person a healing session and strengthened their third eye - beautiful!

I am really enjoying this beautiful sunshine which we don't get much of in the UK so I am making the most of it when I can.  It's amazing how lovely weather makes us feel so much brighter!.
